Rumble Trunk Arrived

Rumble Trunk FrontToday Nutricia delivered the Rumble Trunk designed to take drinks and equipment when you fly. As you can see it is quite large, measuring 86cm (34in) long by 43cm (17in) wide by 36cm (14in) deep.

It has a handle at the top with two wheels on the base for easier carrying. There is a hole midway on each side presumably to take a padlock, but I would want to add a strap in case one of the yellow securing clips got caught on something.

I am just trying to imagine how heavy it would be if crammed with drinks, and if the airline would levy excess baggage charges.

Hi we travel with our drinks and equipment in the rumble trunk, labeled up ‘medical supplies handle with care’. There is no luggage charge for a Rumble Trunk.
    Hope this helps?

Can I buy a rumble trunk as Lancashire don’t supply them apparently?

As far as I know they are free only if you are on Nutricia Homeward. However I don’t see why you can’t buy a similar sized case and label it “Medical Supplies”. I think you would still a letter from the hospital.
